The meeting brought together members of the Justice of the Peace Association, senior representatives of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, and community leaders to strengthen collaboration around justice, mentorship, and community development across the parish of St. Mary.
The engagement was addressed by Senior Superintendent Anthony Wallace, Commanding Officer for St. Mary, and Deputy Superintendent Richard Beckford, Operations Commander for the parish, who both emphasized partnership, trust, and proactive community policing.
Also contributing were Attorney-at-Law and Justice of the Peace Kevon Johnson, who shared guidance on legal and procedural matters, and Justice of the Peace Dawnette Lewis, Chairman of the Community Outreach & Empowerment Initiative (COEI), who encouraged active involvement in mentorship and youth engagement programmes.
The meeting was chaired by Kimberly Fletcher, JP, Chairman of the Justice of the Peace Association, St. Mary, who underscored the Association’s commitment to accountability, service, and building stronger, safer communities through collective action.
